Built in 1809, with a traditional architectural style, our 120 scare meters villa offer a private entrance and 2 private balcony’s offering a magnificent panoramic view of the bay of Fira and the surrounding islands and of course the world-famous Santorini sunset in a most tranquil location.

Villa 1809 was remodeled in 2001 and has conserved his unique hold style with high ceiling, minimal and elegant décor and Cycladic architecture accents throughout with the comfort of today.

Our villa affords one bedroom, one close bedroom loft with view of the volcano and the most photographed church of Ayios Mynas and one open loft in front with sea view and Fira perched on the cliff. Also, our spacious villa, affords 2 in-suite bathrooms, one in the main bedroom and one in the close bedroom loft and one last in the living area. In front, a well equipped kitchen with modern facilities, next to it one large sitting room with dining area. Up to 6 persons can sleep in comfortably.

The spacious terrace outside in two levels is well furnished and affords one big diner table with chairs. One comfortable lounge sofa is at your disposal where you find yourself in a dreamlike close-up with the volcano and the caldera… 

Enjoy from your private and peaceful balcony all the precious moments and especially when the setting sun performs a recital of colors for you….

 INCLUDED IN THE RATES ARE:

Transfers - We will meet you at the port or airport and transfer your party to the villa. On your departure date, our transfer company will collect you and transfer you to the port or airport. Kindly advice us of your arrival / departure time, flight number or name of ferry.

Complimentary Welcome Hamper - consisting of mineral water, Greek yoghurt, honey, tea and coffee are provided on arrival.

Housekeeper - Our housekeeper will service the villa daily. We provide fresh towels every day and linen is changed after every 3rd night. 

Facilities:  

Air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, CD player and washer are available. 

Services:  

Laundry and pressing (at your charges), luggage handling (free of charge).

Rental: car rental, boat rental, sailing private and semi private, arrangement for scuba-diving, horse back riding, walking tours,  weddings and special event coordination. We suggest to arrange it with us through email of before arrival.

Upon arrival, we will meet you and give you a briefing about the Island of Santorini in order to enjoy your holiday. We will give suggestions about where to go, where to eat, shopping and visiting...We will be at your disposal for any services that you might need and we will be please to organise for you tours, excursions, and boat and car rental.

The villa is equipped with a washer. Our housekeeper will provide a laundry and ironing service on your request.

IN HOUSE CHEF: PRIVATE DINNER EVENINGS : A private chef will prepare and serve a fully catered dinner on request on your privae terrace. Menus can be pre-arranged and set in advance. The service must be booked at least 72 hours in advance. 

PROVISION SHOPPING :Groceries will be bought and delivered to the villa (for free) upon arrival as per the shopping list that you will forward us before arrival. Costs of the groceries are payable upon check out. 

PRIVATE MASSEUSE :Enjoy a relaxing aromatherapy massage in the privacy of the villa. 

BABY SITTING :Enjoy a night out whilst our experienced baby sitter takes care of the children in the safety of the villa 

SECRETARIAL SERVICES :We will assist with all your secretarial needs at your request. All telephone calls & facsimile costs are for your own account, payable upon check out. 

MOBILE TELEPHONE RENTAL :We will provide you with an up to date mobile (cellular) telephone with a prepaid card of 6 euro at our charge. Any extra phone call will be at your charge. 

Extra information: 

Coast/Beach: Nearest beach, Exo Gialos only 2 km, quiet, nice and private. There are a few rare black sand beaches on Santorini; the most popular one is Red Beach, located in Akrotiri, 12 Km from our Villa, Perivolos is also a must, with its sandy sea bottom and stretch of black sand.
 

Distances: Fira town(60 m),  Shopping(120 m), Airport(6 km), Athinios Port(10 km), taxi rant (120 m), Bus terminal(100m), Banks (130 m). For exploring Santorini, we also recommend to rent a car.

Further details: Banks, bars, dance clubs, fashion stores, souvenirs, handmade jewellery shops and more are mainly located in Fira.

Hiking: From Fira town, you can take the popular hiking path that will lead you to Oia, one of the most beautiful village of Santorini. It takes around 3 hours and offer fantastic views of the Caldera. Also a shorter alternative (15-20 minutes) is the part that takes you from Fira town, Firostefani and finally Imerovigli village.

Fira town 

Fira and local activities: Fira, the capital is the busiest point of the island. Hanging from the highest cliffs of the Caldera, it attracts thousand of tourists and, as a result, Fira is the most densely built part of Santorini. Have a glance at the Theotokopoulos Sqare, the meeting point overflowing with cafes and thousand of visitors. Gold Street with the jewellery stores and the commercial centre Fabrika are poles of attraction but you should definitely go to enjoy the view of the Caldera. In Fira you have the Archaeological Museum of Thira, the Museum of Pre-historic Thira. The Bellonias Foundation is the cultural centre of the island. The Santorini Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral is situated in a unique position in the Caldera. The Catholic Cathedral will impress you with its architecture and steeple. 

Booking: 

Booking rates: The rates are quoted in euro, per day, FOR 2 PERSONS, without breakfast, maid services and all the taxes. Additional guest will have additional charges, please see rate tables.  

Villa 1809 is available all year on special requests.

Reservation confirmation: For any booking at Villa 1809, we kindly ask you to contact us by email or by telephone.  In order to secure a booking we need to receive a deposit of 25% of the total amount. Remaining balance is due upon check in or checks out.

Cancellation policy: Any cancellation less than 21 days prior to the arrival date results in 50% payment of the entire booking. Any cancellation within seven (7) days prior to the arrival date or non appearance or less-stay, may result in 100% payment of the entire booking. The deposit, after being paid, is non-refundable in any case, but can be used for re-booking purposes within one year.
